The installation of this light was very easy, but bear in mind the level of practical knowledge you have. Mine is very good but if yours isn’t you might want to get someone to fit it for you. However the instructions are a bit bewildering and you can only access them when you have downloaded the app and are within Bluetooth connection distance of it because if you try to open the app when not within Bluetooth distance the app will not pick up the light.
Setting it up is a difficult operation as the descriptions of the terms used for the various functions are not easily understood ,I wanted to mess around with the settings menu to see what did what but having to refer to the app for what to do instead of referring to a hard copy was awkward, it would have been better if there was a hard copy.
Eventually I managed to set it up to come on when someone crossed the PIR, which is its main function, after that I gave up on the other function of it being able to light up for 4 hours as I couldn’t work out how to do it.
In my opinion it’s a good light, it has a plastic back for wall mounting and the main lights are Aluminium, the brightness is excellent but all in all not worth the price I paid. One of the questions I was asked for this review was would I recommend it, well yes I would but with reservations regarding the above issues.
